Using the Chefstat Search Engine

Keyword searches

Keyword searches enable you to find all of the orders that contain a certain product, such as tomatoes. This is what is referred to as a fuzzy search; this means that when you search for tomatoes orders with heirloom tomatoes and roma tomatoes will be returned.

Searching for multiple terms

If you need a more specific query you can add multiple terms to the query. You separate these with commas; for example a search for 'tomato, salmon' will only return orders which contain both tomatoes and salmon.

Limiting your search to a specific purveyor

You can specify the purveyor to search by using the purveyor: tag. For example, if you want to only search orders from Finest kind seafood you would enter a query like this: 'purveyor:finest kind seafood'.

Specifying a range of dates to search

You can limit your search to a range of dates by using the datefrom: and/or dateto: tags. For example you can search for orders that contain tomatoes and were placed in September, 2009 with a query like this: 'datefrom:9/1/09, dateto:10/1/09, tomatoes'

Limiting your search to a specific order status

You can also limit your searches to a specific order status. You do this with the status: tag. For example, if you only want to search pending orders you would enter a query like this: 'status:pending'. These are the available status keys:

• status:saved
• status:sent
• status:confirmed
• status:trash

Here are a few examples of how to use the Chefstat search engine:

Search for orders containing tomatoes and salmon:

tomatoes, salmon

Search for orders containing tomatoes and salmon that were placed on September 19, 2009 or later:

datefrom:9/19/09, tomatoes, salmon

Search for orders containing salmon from Finest Kind Seafood:

purveyor:finest kind seafood, salmon

Search for pending orders from Finest Kind Seafood that contain salmon

purveyor:finest kind seafood, status:pending, salmon
